Dan’s work is defined by bold, earthy textures and irregularly set stones, giving each piece a raw, elemental quality. Each piece feels as though it's been unearthed rather than crafted, freshly pulled from the ground with its natural composition intact. Many of the pieces are cast in sand rather than lost-wax, with the resulting texture giving each piece its own identity.
