About the Artist
Amelia and I stumbled across Ashleighs work in the Mathilde Gallery whilst in Amsterdam last year and instantly fell in love. The rugged, worn down textures mixed with the flowing forms found in everyday life make each piece feel alive, and yet a thousand years old at the same time. We knew from then her pieces would be at the forefront of our list for jewellery we wanted in store.
"Monastery is meant to represent a type of austere solitude of being in a world saturated with noise and mass production. These are wearable sculptures that speak on their own terms."
